Do I have to pay sales tax?
MOM’s Bunk House does not have to charge sales tax, with the exception of items shipping to Texas. Orders shipping to Texas will be subject to an 8% sales tax.

What if I want to return an item?
Returns are accepted within 30 days for items that have not been assembled and are in the original packaging. Customer is responsible for return shipping. a refund will be issued for the purchase price less a 20% restocking fee.

What if my order arrives damaged or defective?
We take great care in packaging and preparing each order for shipping to insure that your items arrive to your doorstep, safe and secure. We double-box many items and refuse to sell products that are easily damaged in shipping. We select only the highest quality products and purchase from the most reputable manufacturers. If an item does arrive damaged or defective or missing parts, we will send replacements as soon as possible. Claim instructions for items that shipped Ground via FedEx or UPS: Notify Mom’s Bunk House within 30 days of receipt. Email pictures of the damage to kristin@momsbunkhouse.com. To receive replacement parts, circle the affected pieces in the product assembly diagram and email with the pictures. Claim instructions for freight shipments: Most shipments arrive safely, however, it’s important to know what to do at that critical moment of delivery to make sure you retain your right to file a claim. Regarding freight shipments, you as the recipient play a major role in the successful filing of any necessary claims. If your item was sent via freight truck and it was signed and accepted, the order cannot be returned unless shipping is paid both ways by the customer and the item has not been opened, used or assembled. When you sign for delivery, even if your package appears only slightly damaged, please write “Package Damaged” and make a note of the dent, rip, crushed corner, etc. If the package looks significantly damaged, you may refuse delivery. Make a note “Refused Due to Damage” and indicate the visible issue (example: Box was open and parts falling out). In this case, you may refuse just that one box and we’ll ship the replacement. Please notify us so we can expect the return shipment. Once we receive the returned shipment, we will send you a new one right away. If, after you’ve accepted the shipment and noted the damage to the exterior packaging on the receipt you discover missing or damaged parts, please contact us immediately. We usually only have a 48-hour window from the time of delivery to file freight claims. Send pictures of the damages, as well as a copy of the product assembly diagram, circling the parts you need replaced, to Kristin@momsbunkhouse.com. We will ship replacement parts right away. If your part has a manufacturer’s defect please follow the same procedure sending pictures and parts circled in the assembly diagram to Kristin@momsbunkhouse.com. We will send a replacement part. All replacement part orders are shipped standard ground delivery (regardless of the initial shipment type) unless the consignee chooses to pay the difference in expedited shipping. In the case of damage, defect or loss, replacement parts will be issued. If you decide you do not want the parts replaced, you may return the item under our standard return policy.

How will my order ship?
We will ship your order using the fastest, safest, most reliable method possible. We have established strong relationships with some of the best shipping companies nationwide. The particular delivery method for your order has been selected to achieve the optimal delivery experience for you. Once your order ships, we will send you the tracking via email. We encourage you to track your package online. Most companies will provide an estimated delivery date. Be sure to contact us if anything seems unusual with the progress of your shipment. We ship free nationwide to the 48 contiguous United States. We do not have arrangements to ship to Alaska. Hawaii or Puerto Rico. We cannot ship internationally or to P.O. Boxes or Military APOs. Under MOM's free shipping policy, we provide two methods of shipment: Ground or Self Service Curbside Freight. Ground We will ship small packages and items that are packed flat via FedEx or UPS Ground. Depending on how close you are to the shipping warehouse, your order will arrive between 1 and 6 business days after it leaves the warehouse. Self Service Curbside Freight Items that are too large or heavy to ship FedEx or UPS are shipped via Freight Delivery. Freight delivery differs from FedEx or UPS Ground in that it is scheduled by appointment. Once the shipment reaches your area terminal, a representative will call you to set a 2-4 hour delivery window. Most freight companies schedule delivery appointments between 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Metropolitan areas, such as New York, may require residential deliveries to be set midday, 10:00-2:00, to avoid traffic.If your shipment is designated for Freight Delivery, your items will be delivered to the end of the driveway or curb outside your address. It’s “Self Service” because you will need to move the packages off the truck yourself. You may want to arrange to have a friend or family member on hand to help. Any additional services, such as two-man delivery, inside delivery, lift gate or address change are not included in the price of the freight item. You may purchase these additional services for a fee.

When will my order arrive?
Every product on our site has an estimated lead-time, the number of business days it takes for an item to be processed and prepared for shipment at the warehouse. In order to provide our customers with the greatest selection, we ship from warehouses all over the country. Each lead-time varies based on several factors. Some warehouses stock items that can be shipped the same day or within 24 hours. Others items require a longer processing time (e.g. 2-4 weeks). Each product page on our site includes the estimated lead-time, "Ships in ________ " to give you an idea how quickly your order will leave the warehouse. For Ground shipments, delivery usually takes between 1 and 6 business days after your order is picked up from the warehouse. Call us if you have any questions or concerns.

Will I be notified before delivery?
For Truck Freight shipments, delivery usually takes between 3 and 6 days from when your order ships. For freight residential deliveries, you will be contacted for an appointment as soon as your order arrives at the local terminal. For commercial and ground deliveries, no appointment will be made. If you need to make one, please contact us.

How much does shipping cost?
In an effort to keep your costs down, our pricing simple and to avoid any surprises at checkout, MOM’s Bunk House provides FREE SHIPPING to the continental United States on all orders. We ship free nationwide to the 48 contiguous United States. We do not have arrangements to ship to Alaska. Hawaii or Puerto Rico. We cannot ship internationally or to P.O. Boxes or Military APOs.
